You will play an integral part in the efficient delivery of our night shift operations, working closely with the Operations Manager to create a customer-centric environment and ensure the efficiency of our operations where no two days often provide the same challenge. THE DETAILS: Shift Pattern: 4 On/ 4 Off Nights Salary: £30k Per Annum Hours: 20:00-08:00 Location: Broxbourne Parking Onsite Monthly Pay WHAT YOU WILL DO Dispatch and Transport administration. Experience in the use of computer systems. Updating and maintaining computerised and paper based administrative records Dispatching and monitoring timed Live News deliveries to extremely high level of service. Ensure the site is managed safely, efficiently and is compliant with all legal requirements Manage and motivate the team to meet customer timescales and improved productivity Provide ‘hand over report’ to oncoming Shift Manager Ensure inductions are carried out for all new staff Provide training to all staff and contractors to ensure they are able to undertake their duties effectively, efficiently and safely Driver pre and de brief Ensuring compliance is maintained throughout the sites in relation to drivers and fleet Updating our TMS daily in order to track and manage our routes WHAT YOU NEED A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience within a Distribution or Logistics position A full and valid UK driving Licence Experience of delivering expanding operational KPI’s.
