We’re looking for a proactive Transport Team Leader who can keep our transport operation running smoothly, ensure compliance, and drive team performance. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment, love problem‑solving, and have a passion for motivating people, this role is for you.
This is a full‑time, permanent position where shifts are any 5 from 7 and various shifts between the hours of 06:00 and 22:00.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day
* Lead daily transport operations, ensuring smooth and efficient performance
* Drive compliance with all administrative, legislative, and security requirements
* Collaborate across departments to prevent delays and keep customers informed
* Manage and motivate teams, including drivers and admin staff, through coaching and development
* Oversee performance and safety, from tachograph records to accident investigations and vehicle defect management
What You Need to Succeed at GXO
* Detail‑driven and organised, with strong prioritisation skills and accuracy in all tasks
* Experienced in transport or fast‑paced operations, with solid knowledge of EU regulations and drivers working time directives
* Excellent communicator and problem‑solver, confident engaging at all levels and working under pressure to tight deadlines
* Tech‑savvy and adaptable, with strong MS Office skills and familiarity with transport systems (advantageous)
