You will be the first point of contact for disabled students and applicants, academic colleagues and support workers, providing information and assistance as relevant.

The duties of the post include dealing with the teams within Student Life – Disability and Inclusion, Mental Health and Wellbeing, Support to Study and other teams within the University as required. You will undertake a range of administrative tasks, with the need to work across several different interconnected teams. Familiarity of working from a student facing helpdesk will be advantageous.
You will be interacting with students, academics, support workers and other university staff and will support IT-based information management software, databases and website content management. The role involves being sensitive and responsive to different communication needs and responding calmly, professionally, and in a way that maintains confidentiality, to students and staff facing sometimes complex situations. There is also a marketing aspect to the role particularly in promoting Disability and Inclusion Services under 'Student Life' in Open Days and Events.
This role is predominately based within the onsite office at our City campus (with ability to work at all University campuses), with agreement, some hybrid working can be undertaken. The Student Life Administrator will be supporting all teams within the Student Life Directorate.
