Role Title : Instructor demonstrator in Agricultural Engineering

Salary : £26,980 - £31,245


Are you passionate about agriculture and looking for an exciting opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise with the next generation? Look no further than our Instructor Demonstrator role at Coleg Cambria!


As an Instructor Demonstrator, you will have the opportunity to deliver practical sessions and provide hands-on instruction to students in the Agricultural Engineering program. You will be responsible for preparing a schedule of practical activities and assisting in monitoring the overall progress of each student, ensuring they are meeting their learning objectives and achieving their full potential.


At Coleg Cambria, we are committed to creating a caring and supportive environment for all of our students. As an Instructor Demonstrator, you will play a key role in achieving this mission, providing mentorship and guidance to students as they develop their skills and knowledge in the field of agriculture.


While Welsh language skills are essential for this role, we provide comprehensive training to support your professional development and ensure you are equipped to deliver the highest quality instruction to our students.


The start date for this role is 1st September 2026


Essential Requirements

Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 or equivalent in a professionally relevant subject matter

Recent industrial experience in the relevant specialist area

Able to confidently deliver high quality, effective practical sessions which enhance learning for our students.

Demonstrate an understanding of current developments within your own specialist area and ways of keeping up to date with such developments


Welsh Language skills are an essential requirement for this role. Candidates must be able demonstrate Level 3 Welsh language skills. A Welsh Language skills assessment will form part of the selection process to identify competence, confidence and suitability for a development plan.


Welsh skills are essential for this specific post. We are seeking candidates who can help us grow our bilingual provision and service.


Coleg Cambria aims to actively promote and embed the Welsh language and culture. We are committed to providing opportunities and support for our colleagues to develop their Welsh language skills in both formal and informal settings. This includes access to tailored Welsh language training plans as well as incentive payments for bilingual delivery and services.
