Would you like the Lead Estimator role in an established contstruction business? Are you local to Gloucestershire with an understanding and knowledge of the county? Can you accurately survey a variety of construction projects up to £1M value? My client has been building lasting quality across Gloucestershire for over 25 years. They are known for craftsmanship, conservation expertise, and personal service. With exciting new projects in the pipeline, they are looking for a Surveyor / Estimator to join the close-knit team. This is a hands-on, dual-role opportunity for someone who enjoys seeing projects through from first enquiry to final account. You will be pricing work, managing costs, and supporting delivery across residential and commercial builds ranging from £100K to £1M. Duties will include: • Preparing detailed estimates and tender submissions • Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors • Managing budgets, valuations, and final accounts • Supporting site teams and attending progress meetings • Helping to shape more efficient ways of working through cost analysis and feedback What we’re looking for: • Experience in a small to medium construction business • A practical mindset and strong commercial instincts • Confidence with drawings, specs, and client conversations • A full UK driving licence, sense of humour and a collaborative team spirit! *Full Job desciptions will be provided to candidates who we feel meet the criteria based on their applications. *We welcome applications from all demographics and abiolities and respond to all applications
