Key Responsibilities - Manual machinist Set up and operate manual machine tools including Jig Bores, lathes, and milling machines Interpret and work from complex engineering drawings and technical specifications Manufacture and rework components to tight tolerances and high-quality surface finishes Conduct in-process inspections using precision instruments (micrometres, verniers, bore gauges, height gauges, DTI's) Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools Accurately complete production and quality documentation Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure compliance with design and customer requirements What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or Toolmaker in a precision engineering or aerospace setting Skilled in machining a variety of materials and castings Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Familiarity with AS9100 standards (preferred) Proficient in using precision measuring tools and maintaining accurate records High attention to detail and a quality-first mindset Flexible, proactive, and capable of working independently or as part of a team Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) Why Apply?
