Job role: Planning and Logistics Manager
Report to: Senior Operations Manager
Based at: Glebe Farm Foods Ltd.
Role: You will be responsible for ensuring that orders are planned into the production plan for bulk, retail, oat, and drink products. You will coordinate the logistics of pickups and deliveries to ensure timely and complete fulfillment through effective communication and planning.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Planning all orders into the production schedule to meet customer delivery deadlines.
2. Liaising with local and international third-party packers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of packaging and products.
3. Maintaining accurate stock records on Sage 200.
4. Communicating with the senior Operations Manager and Finance team to maintain appropriate stock levels based on sales forecasts.
5. Collaborating with the Sales Department to update and manage sales forecasts.
6. Managing relationships with logistics companies to ensure delivery requirements are met.
7. Investigating and resolving delivery complaints from customers.
8. Ensuring all customs documentation for exports is accurate and complete.
9. Performing any other tasks reasonably required by the business.
Skills and experience required:
* Experience with Sage 200.
* Strong data analysis skills.
* Knowledge of BRC standards and requirements.
* Experience in managing KPIs such as On-Time In-Full deliveries, Warehouse GMP audits, and production in time and full against plans.
