The position involves a 4-day week from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend rota. Salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work within a multidisciplinary team, providing assessment, treatment, and intervention to older adults and disabled adults with multiple pathologies in North West Glasgow.
Responsibilities include conducting duties in clients' homes and communities, promoting independence, self-management, hospital admission avoidance, and supporting hospital discharges. You will work alongside other allied health professionals and nurses to achieve person-centered goals.
Additional duties include providing expert advice, supervising team members and students, and participating in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Applicants must be HCPC registered Occupational Therapists. Experience in neurology or older persons’ care is desirable. A full driving license is essential as the role involves working across various locations in North West Glasgow.
