We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals. Duties
* Assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
* Provide medication administration as prescribed, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
* You will monitor complex health needs, including peg feeding. Training provided.
* Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
* Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment.
* Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
Skills
* Experience in care is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of assisted living practices and principles.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to demonstrate empathy and patience when working with clients.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Knowledge of dementia care practices is an advantage.
* A willingness to learn and adapt to the evolving needs of clients.
* Driver with access to a car
