We’re looking for an experienced Legal Counsel (2+ years PQE) with a proven track record in major construction and engineering projects to join our growing team supporting the UK & Ireland.
What You’ll Do:
* Advise on high-value, complex tenders and projects in the energy sector, including HVDC interconnectors, offshore projects, onshore substations, and grid solutions.
* Draft and negotiate EPC agreements and standard forms of construction contracts (NEC, FIDIC preferred).
* Provide strategic legal guidance throughout project lifecycles – from tender to execution and dispute avoidance.
* Collaborate with international legal teams on cross-border projects and share best practices.
* Deliver legal training and promote integrity across the business.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with at least 2 years PQE.
* Strong background in construction law (contentious and non-contentious).
* Expertise in drafting and negotiating complex contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC).
* Commercial acumen and ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
