REED Accountancy and Finance are actively recruiting a PART TIME Financial Controller for a family based Manufacturing company based near to Wimborne. Managing one member of staff within the finance team, reporting into the Director of the Company.

Financial Controller
£50,000 - £55,000 FTE (pro rata for 25 hours per week)
25 hours a week (4 days - flexile on hours)

Key Responsibilities
* Overseeing the full day-to-day management of the Finance Department
* Leading financial planning, forecasting, and budget control
* Managing cash flow, banking, and financial risk
* Reviewing and improving financial processes and controls
* Overseeing payroll accuracy and statutory compliance
* Managing general ledger integrity, invoicing, and reconciliations
* Producing monthly management accounts and supporting month-end and year-end processes
* Preparing financial reports and insights for senior leadership
* Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications & Experience
* Extensive experience in financial management, accounting, or similar senior finance roles
* Strong proficiency in Sage (preferred) or other accounting software
* Advanced Excel skills and exceptional attention to detail
* AAT, ACCA, CIMA qualification or part-qualified (desirable) or Qualified by Experience
* Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and maintain high standards of accuracy
