Internal vacancy only open to current NHS Scotland staff. NHS Borders invite applicants to join our Acute Mental Health Service in the Huntlyburn Ward. These opportunities offer a career in the Scottish Borders with easy access to major cities.
Role: 12-month fixed term contract, 37 hours per week, with shifts including night shifts. Some flexibility with hours may be considered for suitable candidates.
About the service
Our Acute Mental Health Services deliver person-centred, enhanced care within our inpatient setting, Huntlyburn Ward. Huntlyburn is a 19-bed acute admissions unit and you will be required to work as part of the multidisciplinary team assessing and treating patients presenting in an acute phase of illness.
Responsibilities
* Be part of the multidisciplinary team assessing and treating patients presenting in an acute phase of illness on the ward.
* Contribute to the care and treatment of patients and support the delivery of a person-centred, enhanced care approach.
Who we are looking for
* A motivated and innovative individual who can contribute to the care and treatment of patients on the ward.
* Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, to meet service needs.
