The Role
Ekco is seeking a customer-focused IT Support Engineer with a strong technical background. The team is dedicated to serving our Legal and Chambers clients and consists of a Team Leader and multiple engineers, supported by a head-office based team. This role is primarily based in our Chancery Lane office.
Reporting to the Legal team leader, you will manage your tickets and assist with larger projects. Responsibilities include desktop support, device builds, InTune policies, network issues, and client escalations both remotely and onsite at Barristers Chambers. You will document all support interactions using our ticketing system for audit purposes.
You will also create documentation for our knowledge base to improve service quality. Collaborating with the team leader, you will ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations and Ekco’s values.
This position requires extensive IT service experience, handling highly time-critical and sensitive tickets from legal professionals such as Solicitors, Barristers, and Judges. Excellent customer service and communication skills, along with a proactive problem-solving approach, are essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform daily site checks and contractual site visits for London-based legal clients.
2. Manage all open tickets for VIP clients.
3. Take ownership of client issues, liaising with relevant teams and third-party vendors to resolve tickets proactively.
4. Manage service desk tickets according to client SLAs.
5. Create process documentation to enhance support services.
6. Support project scoping and delivery alongside our PMO.
7. Familiarity with technologies such as Windows Server, Azure, MEM, Windows 10, Hyper-V, Active Directory, Intune, Group Policy, WDS, networking, managed antivirus, wireless administration, and Powershell is expected. Certifications like AZ900, AZ104, Network+, or CCNA are desirable but not essential.
