About the Role – We are seeking a Technical Director, Structures to join our Aberdeen Office, with previous experience working in an Engineering Consultancy environment.
Serve as the technical lead on diverse projects, both large and small.
Conduct structural engineering assessments and inspections of both new and existing properties, focusing on materials such as steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
Perform analysis and design tasks using a variety of software packages, including Tekla Structural Designer and TEDDS.
Ensure the quality and consistency of technical outputs including drawings and reports, including structural surveys.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering.
Comprehensive experience across various construction types and building forms.
Proven track record in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
Excellent report writing, communication, and numerical skills.
Mandatory experience in structural analysis, design, and relevant software.
Previous experience as a Technical Director (Structures) within a similar role.
Full driving licence essential.
