The role
We are like delighted to be advertising for a Art Technician to join our wonderful team at Kensington Aldridge from September. The role will be perfect for a university graduate who has a flare for the arts and wants to gain experience in a dynamic environment or a qualified teacher keen to return to the classroom but from a different perspective. Previous technicians have gone on to take up roles in teaching, marketing, photography or to pursue their own business ventures so it can be a an excellent platform for growth, for the right person.
The technician will be joining a group of committed art teachers and will support them in delivering a full and rich curriculum to students across key stage 3 and 4. The main tasks will include preparing materials and equipment for practical sessions, supporting with enrichment and student learning and assisting the teachers with their daily timetable of lessons. The successful candidate must be organised, have good time management skills and be committed to delivering a great job.
