Sales Team Manager

Talent Finance, part of the Talent Group, have been asked to support a growing Dorset-based business in their search for a Sales Team Manager, someone who can lead with energy, bring structure, and help shape the next chapter of their success.

We’re looking for a Sales Team Manager to lead and develop a talented group of Account Managers and Sales Support Specialists, driving growth through collaboration, coaching, and customer excellence. You’ll play a key role in shaping how the business engages with its customers, inspiring the team and helping them reach their full potential.

What you’ll be doing:
* Leading and developing the internal sales team to achieve growth and margin targets.
* Coaching, mentoring, and inspiring people, setting clear goals and supporting them to hit them.
* Using data and insight to identify opportunities, streamline processes, and improve performance.
* Working closely with marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer journey.
* Driving continuous improvement and contributing to the wider digital sales transformation.
* Bringing energy, accountability, and a passion for doing things the right way.
Experience needed:
* Proven experience managing a sales or account management team in a B2B setting.
* Strong commercial awareness, confident setting targets, analysing data, and driving results.
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
* The ability to balance people leadership with hands-on delivery in a fast-moving environment.
* Experience in Retail, FMCG, Manufacturing would be ideal.
