Adele Carr Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a professional services firm seeking a Corporate Tax Associate to join their Tax team in Oldbury. About the Role
The successful candidate will join a friendly, client-focused Tax team and will be involved in a mix of compliance and advisory work.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and submitting corporation tax returns
* Supporting the preparation of tax provisions, including deferred tax
* Responding to client queries efficiently and professionally
* Maintaining strong client and internal relationships
* Working to agreed deadlines and budgets
* Supporting senior team members on advisory and project work
* Developing technical knowledge through on-the-job learning and formal training
Key Performance Indicators
* Delivery of high-quality work and client service
* Effective management of allocated work and deadlines
* Positive contribution to team collaboration
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in corporate tax compliance within a practice environment
* Studying towards, or interested in studying towards, a relevant professional qualification (ATT, CTA, or ACA/CTA pathway)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Good organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively
* Proactive team player with a willingness to learn and develop
* Interest in advisory work and long-term career progression
