A vibrant Mixed School in Dartford is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging History Teacher for a full-time, permanent position. We are looking for an educator who can bring the past to life for our students and foster a critical understanding of historical events and their significance.

About the Role:
o Deliver engaging and well-planned History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a range of historical periods and themes.
o Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that incorporate a variety of teaching methodologies, including discussion, research, and source analysis.
o Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and historical investigations, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
o Contribute to departmental meetings and participate in the development of the History curriculum.
Ideal Candidate:
o Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in History.
o A strong knowledge of the secondary History curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
o Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to make History & RE relevant and engaging for students.
o A passion for historical inquiry and the development of students' critical thinking skills.
