About the Role
As a Residential Children’s Worker, you’ll play a key part in creating a warm, structured, and therapeutic home environment. You’ll support children with emotional, behavioural, and social needs, helping them build confidence and develop essential life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing day‑to‑day care, emotional support, and positive role modelling
Engaging children in creative, fun, and educational activities
Supporting routines, personal development, and everyday living skills
Using therapeutic approaches to help children manage emotions and build resilience
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families as part of a multi‑disciplinary team
Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and consistent environment
About You
We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, patient, and committed to helping children flourish.
You’ll ideally have:
Experience supporting children or young people (care, education, SEN, or residential settings)
A calm, empathetic approach and strong communication skills
The ability to work as part of a supportive team
A driving licence (desirable due to location)
