Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and practical lessons in Health and Social Care, primarily to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students.
* Cover a broad range of topics, including human lifespan development, health and well-being, social care services, communication skills, and ethical considerations.
* Prepare students for BTEC qualifications in Health and Social Care (and/or other relevant vocational qualifications).
* Develop students' practical skills and understanding of real-world care settings, potentially through work placements or simulations.
* Foster empathy, respect, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
* Assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback.
* To be a teacher at a Outstanding level
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* A degree in Health and Social Care, Nursing, Social Work, or a closely related field.
* Proven experience teaching Health and Social Care at the secondary level, with a strong track record of success in delivering BTEC qualifications.
* Ideally, some practical experience working in a health or social care setting (desirable, but not always essential).
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
