Responsibilities
As a Pastoral Manager you lead the team in meeting young people’s complex emotional and behavioural needs. You work with families, design individual programmes, assess and plan therapeutic interventions, and create a positive learning environment where each child can thrive. You motivate and support staff, manage team performance, and ensure high standards of care.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years’ experience working with ASC, ADHD or SEMH pupils and with families in challenging circumstances.
* Experience of multi‑agency work and knowledge of safeguarding, child protection legislation and guidance.
* NVQ Level 3 in Care or Level 2 teaching assistant qualification.
* Leadership related qualification (ideal).
* Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) qualification.
* Experience of staff appraisal, performance management and supervision.
