People Assistant – Temporary
Pay: £12.82 per hour

Location: NG7 – Nottingham
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm
Harper Recruitment Group is working in partnership with an education organisation based in Nottingham. This temporary role is part of the Central People Team, where you will support the HR and Payroll administration team and provide general administrative support.
Key responsibilities
* Inputting new starters, leavers, and contract changes into the integrated HR/payroll system.
* Drafting offer letters, contracts, and contract amendment letters.
* Co‑ordinating onboarding procedures and monitoring recruitment tracking systems.
* Providing general administrative support, including filing and disseminating information.
Top requirements
* Data Accuracy: High level of precision in maintaining records and drafting formal employment documentation.
* Systems Proficiency: Experience with database maintenance (knowledge of Midland HR iTrent is an advantage) and the full MS Office suite.
* Administrative Experience: Proven track record in a fast‑paced office environment, ideally within HR or education.
* Professionalism: Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and act as a professional first point of contact for telephone and email queries.
