An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to join the Housing Services team in the Hamilton area.
As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of housing services to our customers. Therefore, you should have experience working within a housing-related environment and an understanding of current issues and legislation related to homelessness, allocations, estate management, rent recovery, and dealing with anti-social behaviour.
Excellent IT skills are required, as well as the ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively and respond to changing priorities to deliver a quality service. You should possess excellent communication skills and be able to liaise effectively with various agencies.
You will be eligible to participate in South Lanarkshire Council's Car Pool Scheme, and it would be advantageous to have access to a vehicle for business purposes if travel to alternative locations is required.
