Job Overview
This is an exciting time to join our rapidly evolving and future focussed IT Strategy and Architecture team!
You will be overseeing the digital direction of our customer facing front end solutions, as well as some of the back end billing and debt management areas. Ensuring all products fit together and work seamlessly to provide our customers with an excellent user experience.
This is an exciting time to join during a period of transition to new ways of working and new solutions so you will have a real say in the decisions and direction for the future.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Development and ongoing maintenance / support of architectural solutions in business applications e.g. back-office, front-office, digital, operational technologies
2. Proactively identify issues and corrective actions necessary to sustain the environment
3. Working alongside senior solution architects and enterprise architects in order to design new solutions and maintain architectural control of our IT estate
4. Responsible for the architecture behind the website and customer accounts
5. Looking at areas of improvement, making suggestions and considering alternative solutions
About You
6. Experienced Solutions Architect or Enterprise Architect
7. Experience working on customer facing products and websites and improving customer experience
8. Ideally experience working in the utilities sector or other large complex organisations in the retail sector with front facing interfaces for customers
9. Ideally experience across a number of products such as SAP, Microsoft Azure, ServiceNow
10. Experience of working on large scale projects relating to CRM, billing and customer experience
Package
This role will be full time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week.
Southern Water operate a hybrid approach to working between our Durrington office and home (2 days in the office).
