Children’s Advanced Practitioner

Job Responsibilities
Undertake assessments, planning, and support for children at Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Children in Care.
Respond to referrals from the front door as part of a duty rota system (one week in three on duty).
Participate in public and private law proceedings related to children and families.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, partner agencies, and families to provide timely and effective interventions.
Maintain accurate case records, reports, and documentation in line with Council policies.
Attend and contribute to team meetings, case reviews, and professional development sessions.
Provide support to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for children and families.
Person Specification
Must-Have Requirements:
Qualified and experienced Social Worker with relevant experience in child and family services.
Experience in assessing and planning support for children at CIN, CP, and Children in Care.
Knowledge of public and private law proceedings and ability to participate effectively.
Ability to work on a duty rota system and manage workload under pressure.
Strong communication, organisational, and record-keeping skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families.
Ability to work on-site at least two days per week, including during duty weeks.
Nice-to-Have Requirements:
Experience working in East Lindsey or similar local authority settings.
Familiarity with local resources and services for children and families.
Previous experience in hybrid working environments.
Knowledge of multi-agency working practices and partnership approaches.
