Our client is a market leading ALSP that is looking to speak with strong generalist in-house Lawyers who could be available for a 3 month assignment with a real estate business. The assignment is to start ASAP and will likely run for an initial duration of 3-4 months, requiring 3 days per week in their central London office. In joining this notable property development and investment company, the successful Lawyer can expect to roll their sleeves up and handle a vast range of in-house legal duties, from managing litigation, construction litigation matters, general commercial contracts, and employment law related queries, for example. This is a fast-paced environment, and individuals need to be comfortable and sensible in handling work outside of their comfort zone. Due to the nature of the role, it will likely suit a junior to mid-level Lawyer with a broad generalist in-house background. Individuals with some experience within the Real Estate sector would be highly desirable (but not a pre-requisite). The successful Lawyer will likely be able to demonstrate: Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales, or another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as New Zealand and/or Australia, for example) Possess upwards of 2 years' PQE in handling a full generalist in-house legal role Experience gained in an in-house environment would be highly desirable, with Real Estate sector exposure being beneficial, but not a prerequisite The ability to start a new role immediately or at short notice The capacity to commit to a 3-4 month assignment Be able to spend 3 days per week in a central London office The role will pay a daily rate inside IR35. Please apply with your CV to Jennifer Pike in confidence. Please note that where a level of preferred experience or qualification is indicated, this is a guideline only and does not preclude applications from candidates with more or less experience.
