You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.What You'll Do:Carry out scheduled cleaning tasks to a high standard, following all policies and proceduresSafely handle waste disposal, cleaning equipment, and materials in line with infection control and COSHH regulationsReplenish consumables and maintain stock of cleaning supplies and equipmentPerform a range of domestic duties (e.g. cleaning surfaces, floors, sanitary areas, bed cleaning, dishwashing, curtain changes)Respond to ad-hoc cleaning requests and report any issues to supervisors promptlyDeliver excellent customer care with clear communication, professionalism, and respect for patient dignityComply with all training, audits, policies, confidentiality, and infection prevention requirementsFollow health & safety procedures, use PPE correctly, and report incidents or risks appropriatelyWhat You Bring:NVQ in Healthcare Support Services or BICSc CPSS (desirable)Experience working in a cleaning team, including handling waste and unpleasant environmentsPrevious experience in a healthcare and/or customer-facing roleStrong communication skills with patients, visitors, and colleaguesAbility to show empathy, care, and compassionAble to work independently, flexibly, and under pressureFollows instructions, standards, and procedures accuratelyTeam player with a positive attitude and good customer service skillsBasic literacy skillsPhysically capable of pushing equipment and moving light furnitureMaintains a high standard of personal hygieneWhat we offer:Working at Sodexo isn't just a job — it's a chance to make a difference every day.
