We are excited to be looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer at IVC Evidensia.
As Quality Assurance Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on our company's ambitious digital transformation. With our transition to Microsoft Azure, we are digitalising and centralising our suite of products and services, including subscription models, pricing algorithms, health clubs, and animal healthcare offerings. We believe that you cannot test to get quality, you need to build quality into all steps of the development process. We have QA strategies and tools for Automation, Load/Soak, Regression, Exploratory and Integration.

What you’ll get to do:
Be part of team who build industry defining products within an autonomous engineering team consisting of 5-8 team members
Feed into important technical decisions on the future of our systems, in collaboration with other teams and supporting roles such as Architects, DevOps and QA
Work closely with your Team Lead and Product Manager to test the most effective solutions to our KPIs
Contribute to continuous improvements focusing on quality within your team
Test development with the latest technology in a cloud-native environment
What we need from you:
Strong experience writing automation tests using Java and / or C# for backend systems
Have the ability to automate API and CI/CD pipeline testing processes (we use Postman for our API tests)
A history of designing, building, and executing functional / non-functional manual test cases including exploratory, regression, integration, performance and compatibility testing (web / mobile applications)
Demonstrable history working with event driven architectural platforms
A quality driven mindset working with the “shift left” testing approach
