The Role
Reporting into the Head of Supply Chain, you will deliver the following key duties-
* Manage company stock levels using forecasting and back-order processes.
* Raise purchase orders with suppliers.
* Expedite orders to ensure on-time deliveries
* Maintain relationships with key suppliers (Worldwide).
* Ensure all suppliers and products comply to current (and future) legislation and quality requirements.
* Liaise and assist Sales on NPD projects.
* Regular reporting to senior management.
* Organise Sample Stock for New Ranges.
Skills & Experience Required
This role will suit a proven Buyer looking for a new career challenge or alternatively an aspiring Purchasing professional with 2+ years experience seeking career development e.g. from Assistant / Junior Buyer, Purchasing Assistant / Administrator or Supply Planning. Alongside relevant career experience, you will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, a process driven mindset who enjoys commercial environments and the ability to work effectively individually or as part of a wider team.
