The Engineering Manager is required to manage a team of managers and engineers that undertake multi-skilled maintenance on state of the art production machinery within the facility. The Role: Within the remit of your role you will manage day to day engineering operations on site, achieve maintenance and machinery uptime through the development of a robust maintenance plan. To ensure high standards of work, and identify training needs for the department, reduce machinery downtime and increase machinery efficiency, manage contractor control on site. Key tasks will include: 1. Budget control 2. Maintain excellent level of service to production operations 3. Manage and develop skills of the engineers 4. Develop and embed a strong engaged team culture 5. Implement and manage a robust maintenance plan scheduling work to site engineers to achieve this. 6. Provide a safe working environment and ensure all work undertaken complies with the relevant procedures and legislation 7. Manage capital expenditure plan 8. Deliver department KPI’s 9. Ability manage other managers You will be managing a team of engineers and the engineering toolrom.
