Our client, an ambitious and forward thinking construction and investment company, are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior Executive Assistant to support the most senior stakeholders.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director - and concurrently supporting the Chair of the Board, and two Non-Executive Directors - you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of senior-level administration and governance processes. This role demands exceptional organisational acumen, discretion, and a deep understanding of the construction or infrastructure sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-level executive support to the MD, Chair, and two NEDs, including diary and inbox management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
* Prepare, format and distribute Board-level documentation, reports, and presentations.
* Act as a liaison between senior executives and internal/external stakeholders.
* Manage sensitive and confidential information with the utmost integrity.
* Facilitate board meetings, occasional meeting notes, and follow up on action points.
* Ensure compliance with governance protocols and support corporate record-keeping.
* Maintain an effective filing and administrative system, both digitally and physically.
Person Specification
* Significant experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant at Board or C-suite level.
* Strong background supporting senior leadership within the construction, infrastructure or engineering sectors.
* Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise competing demands under pressure.
* Confident and proactive, with sound judgement and discretion. Able to speak for those supported.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with digital board portals and collaboration tools.
* Knowledge of local government or public sector governance structures.
* Experience working within a regulated or complex stakeholder environment.
