Working alongside our lead commissioners, you'll have opportunities to contribute to the entire commissioning process, from designing services to implementing contracts and monitoring their effectiveness. You will also be involved in quality assurance and performance management.

This role is ideal for graduates seeking to develop project management, data analysis, and decision-making skills in a real-world environment. You'll influence transformation initiatives, service improvements, performance management, policy development, and quality assurance. Working with internal and external stakeholders—including senior managers, service providers, and service users—you'll create reports and briefings based on your findings, making a visible impact on our services.

Our graduate programme offers ongoing training and support to help you grow professionally. You'll join a cohort of graduates across the Council, collaborating and training together.

We value continuous development and support, but it would be helpful if you:

* Have awareness of adult social care services and relevant legislation, such as The Care Act 2014.
* Possess good project management skills and familiarity with project management tools.
* Can work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
* Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Hold a relevant degree with at least a 2:2 classification, attained within the last 3 years; degrees in any field are accepted.

The role's salary is Grade 12, starting at £28,598 per annum, increasing to a final salary of Grade 11, £32,597, over the scheme's duration.

The 2-year fixed-term Graduate Scheme involves two stages:

1. CV submission, sifted based on entry criteria.
2. Service-specific formal interview for shortlisted candidates.
