SEN Teaching Assistant – Start After the Easter Break Location: Longsight Start Date: Just after the Easter holidays Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday (8:30am – 3:30pm) Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming, inclusive primary school that is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team after the Easter break. This role involves supporting pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs through a mix of one-to-one and small group work. Key Responsibilities Provide tailored support for pupils with SEN, both individually and in small groups Work with class teachers to deliver differentiated, engaging learning activities Deliver targeted one-to-one interventions to help pupils meet their learning goals Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom atmosphere Support the implementation and monitoring of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to meet pupil needs What We’re Looking For GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN Strong communication and interpersonal skills A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting learning Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing Level 2 Safeguarding (or willingness to complete training through Teaching Personnel) Why Choose Teaching Personnel?
