Role: Account Manager
Type: Permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum base salary, plus full travel expenses
Location: Bath - hybrid working, with 2 days per week in the office
iO Associates are working with an established and values-led organisation in the healthtech space that is looking to appoint an Account Manager to support and grow a portfolio of existing customers.
This is a really exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, understanding customer challenges, and identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell in a meaningful way. The role would suit someone who is commercially minded, highly organised, and motivated by delivering a great customer experience.
There is also clear progression available, with the opportunity to develop into a more strategic account management role over time, with greater exposure to procurement-level conversations and longer-term account planning.
Responsibilities:
Managing and developing a portfolio of existing customer accounts
Building long-term, strategic relationships with key stakeholders
Leading regular service reviews and maintaining strong account engagement
Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across the account base
Understanding customer challenges and aligning solutions to their needs
Monitoring account health and proactively addressing risks or issues
Acting as a trusted advisor and internal advocate for customers
Working closely with product, support and internal teams to deliver the best customer outcomes
Supporting contract management, renewals and overall account growth
Skills:
Proven experience in an Account Management role is essential
NHS, healthcare or wider healthtech experience is strongly preferred
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility quickly
Commercial awareness and experience managing accounts against targets
Ability to spot growth opportunities while maintaining a high level of service
Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working collaboratively across internal teams
No specific product background required
