Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for our established Coleshill client who are seeking an Accounts Assistant to start immediately. The role will be fully based on site in Coleshill and parking is available.
Duties and tasks will include:
Processing purchase invoice ensuring approved in line with policy
Posting of Purchase invoices on FCL and Sage
Dealing with invoice queries
Maintain query file
Supplier statement reconciliation
Reconciling EUR suppliers with Contra agreements
Preparing, posting and managing weekly and monthly payment runs GBP and EUR
Posting all DD payments
Supplier remittance advice
Raising Insurance credit notes
Reconciling Insurance Nominal account
VAT/DUTY nominal reconciliation
Daily bank reconciliation
Creating new Purchase ledger accounts
Daily cash forecast
Transfer invoices to Sage
Open Sales ledger accountsCandidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:
Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar role is preferred.
A basic understanding of accounting principles and practises.
Good Excel skills (experience with Sage is a bonus)
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Be able to prioritise own workload
