We have the pleasure of recruiting for our well-established client located between Grantham and Sleaford. We are seeking a confident Customer Service Administrator that enjoys customer interaction to join their small and personable sales team.
This is a full time, office-based role with salary of £25k DOE. Due to the rural location, you must drive and have your own reliable transport.
You will be working within a small, outgoing and friendly team, responding to the customers’ requirements, and providing information and quotations, dealing with all the relevant paperwork and administration to run alongside this and process forthcoming orders effectively and accurately.
Duties include but not limited to;-
• Proactively process and monitor orders, quotes, and enquiries, both UK and International, via email and phone
• Creation and update of price lists and promotions in several currencies in excel and on the system
• Export and UK shipping documentation – certificate of origin, EUR1, ATR, proof of export, recording receipts, etc
• The creation and regular update of databases for export customers and trade show enquiries
• Mailouts – show invites, show leads, catalogues, price changes
• Online and offline filing and general administration
• Close inter-departmental liaison at all times
• Any reasonable tasks which may be required, as and when needed.
Candidate Requirements:
• IT Literacy with accurate data entry skills
• Methodical approach with excellent organisational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively via email and telephone
• 2 years’ experience within an administration, sales or customer service environment is essential
• Experience of Import/Export preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial however training will be provided where necessary. The successful candidate will have a positive, outgoing nature, and have empathy and diplomacy when required.
