Offer description

Are you an experienced tax professional looking to take on a role where you can influence how multinational clients manage their tax reporting, compliance, and operating models on a global scale? Our client, a major global professional services firm, is seeking a Senior Manager to join their rapidly growing Global Tax Compliance & Reporting team. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of tax reporting and to work at the forefront of evolving international tax regulations.

About the Team

You will be joining a high‑performing, international team that partners with some of the world’s largest and most complex organisations. The practice specialises in delivering multi‑country tax compliance, global tax reporting, and tax accounting services, operating at the intersection of tax, accounting, technology, and regulatory change.

The team supports multinational businesses navigating increasingly complex reporting obligations under frameworks such as IFRS, US GAAP, ASC 740, and IAS 12.

The environment is collaborative, diverse, and innovation‑led. It is made up of professionals from a wide range of backgrounds and nationalities, and the organisation takes pride in creating an inclusive space where people can grow, develop, and contribute to best‑in‑class client delivery.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Manager, you will lead large, multi‑jurisdictional client engagements, helping multinational groups deliver accurate and compliant tax accounting and reporting. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, both internally and client‑side, and you will play a central role in improving and re‑designing tax operating models to meet the demands of modern global reporting frameworks.

This position offers exposure to cutting‑edge global tax projects, including support in implementing new international tax regulations such as BEPS Pillar Two and the OECD GloBE framework, areas where clients are actively seeking guidance and technical leadership.

Whether you come from practice or industry, this is a role that combines technical depth, operational excellence, and strategic influence.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

* Lead the preparation and review of interim, quarterly, and year‑end global tax provisions for multinational clients under IFRS and US GAAP.
* Oversee tax reporting deliverables across global finance and tax teams, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal controls including SOX.
* Manage all aspects of multi-country corporate income tax compliance and reporting engagements.
* Advise clients on the tax accounting implications of regulatory change, including BEPS Pillar Two and related international developments.
* Drive process improvements, standardisation, and operational efficiencies within clients’ tax functions.
* Lead and mentor cross‑border teams across both onshore and offshore models, ensuring high-quality delivery and developing talent at all levels.
* Engage in business development activities, including identifying opportunities, leading pursuits, and supporting proposal development.
* Work closely with internal specialists across tax, finance, and technology, connecting clients to the right expertise at the right time.

What We’re Looking For

This role is ideal for a technically strong tax professional who thrives in a global, fast‑paced, and evolving environment. The successful candidate will bring a balance of technical expertise, leadership capability, and commercial mindset.

Essential qualifications and experience include:

* A recognised professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CA, CTA, or CPA (or equivalent).
* Strong technical knowledge of ASC 740 and/or IAS 12, and experience delivering tax accounting under IFRS and US GAAP.
* Hands‑on experience with corporate income tax and tax reporting for multinational businesses.
* Proven ability to manage complex engagements and lead teams across borders.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
* Demonstrated capability in coaching, mentoring, and developing junior colleagues.
* A proactive approach, organisational agility, and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Experience with international projects, process improvement, technology-enabled solutions, or Pillar Two/GloBE considerations would be an advantage.

Why This Firm?

This opportunity sits within one of the world’s most respected professional services organisations. The firm is known for its investment in people, its collaborative global network, and its commitment to helping businesses navigate complexity with confidence.

Here, you will have access to:

* A diverse and inclusive culture that values new ideas and perspectives.
* Continuous professional development, including technical training and leadership programmes.
* Opportunities to work with senior stakeholders of major global businesses.
* Cutting‑edge technology and innovation platforms designed to transform tax operations.
* A clear and supported career progression path.

The firm is committed to helping you build a long‑term, successful career—supported by world‑class resources, global learning opportunities, and a culture that champions growth.

Who Should Apply?

If you are someone who combines technical excellence with strong leadership qualities, who enjoys working across borders, and who wants to shape the future of global tax reporting, this role will offer you challenge, visibility, and long‑term growth.

Candidates from Big Four, mid‑tier firms, or in‑house multinational tax functions are all encouraged to apply. What matters most is your ability to lead teams, drive high‑quality output, and bring strategic insight to complex global reporting environments.
