Job Description
Delivering successfully to our customers is extremely importance to Verisk. This is a vital role to make sure that our customer’s experiences are excellent and to smooth the lines of communication between the customer, sales and the product team.
This role is focussed on working with customers and the Product team to ensure the delivery of a products and services to these customers. Many of these projects are simple and straight forward but some are much more complex involving changes to one or more products and management of 3rd parties

The responsibilities for this role are as follows.
Managing all customer related projects for UK and Ireland* ensuring that the customer is fully involved and comfortable with expectations set and that excellent results are achieved.
Co-ordinating and managing the project through the customer lifecycle including initial pre sales solution meetings, PoCs, specifications, contracting, UAT and go live.
Owning the customer onboarding and customer project process for UK and Ireland* deliveries.
Being the central point of contact for the customer for any queries they have during the implementation. This contact point will be handed across to the support team once the project is live.
Being the first point of contact, for sales, for new customer onboarding implementations.
Owning the delivery of complex customer projects for the UK and Ireland. Working with
The Product Manager to elicit, analyse and specify requirements for any related product enhancements ( including compliance ) and drive them through the development process
The Head of Delivery to provide effort estimates and delivery date estimates both at an order of magnitude level for high level scope and specific date once requirements are fully defined and refined.
The Data Acquisition Manager to negotiate and contract with any 3rd parties.
The Principal Architect to design the solutions
Working with the Head of Customer Operations and team to facilitate any handover of simpler projects that can be owned and managed by them.
Co-ordinating with Product, Technology and Stakeholders to agree and changes to SLAs requested by a customer.
The person in this role will report to the Director of Product and Technology and work as part of the Product and Technology team that supports four different business in the International Underwriting division of Verisk.
Skills, aptitudes and experience required for the role
We are looking for a focussed, extremely well organised, detail minded team player, with a good business level understanding of data, software and APIs. The ideal candidate would enjoy working with customers and gain satisfaction from “making things happen” for them.
3-5 years managing IT projects, in a financial services organisation ideally, within insurance or insure tech.
Comfortable and experienced in working with projects involving APIs, web-based user interfaces and data to form a functional high level understanding of what Verisk is delivering to each customer.
Proven track record of managing multiple small projects and hitting deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and able to articulate complex problems
Ability to create tracking mechanisms in excel or other software to manage and make visible project progress and status.
Experience of working within an Agile / SCRUM product environment.
Some Project Management qualifications are expected though level of experience on the job is more important.
Able and comfortable working as part of a team of talented professionals to solve problems with a high level of autonomy.
