My client is a well-established, family-owned business, supporting manufacturers across electronics, polymers, and other sectors. With over 20 years experience and a dedicated team of 25 in the UK, they combine technical expertise with responsive service to deliver.Salary & Benefits£40,000£50,000 basic salary (depending on experience)Uncapped commission potential (up to an additional £60,000)Company mobile phone and laptopContributory pension scheme23 days annual leave (increasing by one day per year up to 30 days)Continuous professional development and sales trainingWorking Hours & ConditionsFull-time, permanent positionCore hours: MondayFriday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pmHybrid flexibility for administrative tasksPrimarily telephone-based sales (approximately 90%), with customer site visits, trade shows, and occasional international travelMust-Haves & Key SkillsMinimum 2:1 degree in a relevant science or engineering disciplineAt least two years technical sales experience with demonstrable resultsExcellent written and verbal communication in EnglishStrong numeracy skills (GCSE Maths Grade C/4 or above)Proficiency in MS Word and ExcelFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel domestically and internationallyBased within a commutable distance of SL8 (or prepared to relocate)Role OverviewAs Business Development Executive, you will identify and qualify new business opportunities, manage and grow accounts within existing customer portfolios, and support strategic sales initiatives.
