As part of the Trade Counter team you will be working with experienced team members learning all aspects of the front counter, kitchens and the opportunity for unlimited progression should you show you are willing to learn and work hard. You will also gain an extensive knowledge of our delivery and distribution service with goods coming into the branch then procedures of delivery to our valued customers.

The company started in Cumbria in 1888 as a timber yard and sawmill, and to this day supplying timber to both trade and public customers represents a sizeable part of our business.
We are offering a full-time position working 40 hours per week working 5 of 7 days on a rota basis.
This is a key customer-facing role, so your people skills will have to be excellent.
Full product training will be provided so the most important thing is you have a flexible and "can-do" approach.
Experience is not essential but a background in a sales position would be beneficial.
Pay: National Living Wage or based on experience.
