QA, QC & Validation - US Pharma & Biotech

We specialise in US-focused pharma and biotech recruitment, with a strong bias towards contract solutions and senior-level search. We work with high-growth biotech companies, CDMO’s and commercial organizations at critical inflection points - clinical milestones, scale-up, inspections and commercial readiness.
We’re now looking to hire a Principal Consultant to build and grow a desk focused on QA, QC and Validation roles across the US market.
This is a hands-on, high-standards role for someone who enjoys pace, responsibility and being held to targets - and who wants to build something meaningful.
The role
You’ll be responsible for building and managing a high-performing desk focused on:
* Contract and interim placements (primary focus)
* Senior permanent hires (Director, Senior Director, VP level where relevant)
* US-based pharma and biotech clients, particularly small to mid-sized, growth-stage companies
Day to day, that means:
* Winning and developing client relationships in the US pharma & biotech market
* Delivering QA, QC and Validation contractors into urgent, business-critical projects
* Managing the full recruitment lifecycle – BD, qualification, candidate management, offer and onboarding
* Running a high-activity, phone-based desk with strong follow-up and ownership
* Building a long-term network of quality professionals and hiring leaders
* Host Let’s Talk Quality, The Podcast
* Own our Mentor-Scheme for quality professionals
* Using data, CRM and modern tools properly
* Owning your numbers, pipeline and outcomes
You’ll have autonomy to run your desk, but you won’t be left alone. Early on, you’ll work closely with Hemish, the founder and get real coaching.
Who this role is for
This role will suit someone who:
* Has 3+ years’ recruitment experience, ideally within life sciences, quality, biotech or a related technical market
* Has recruited into QA, QC, Validation or regulated environments (strongly preferred)
* Has US market experience or is confident operating in it
* Thrives in a fast-paced, urgent, sales-led environment
* Is commercially driven and enjoys being set clear targets
* Is curious, inquisitive and genuinely interested in learning the market
* Is coachable and open to feedback
* Holds themselves to high standards - professionally and personally
* Takes ownership when things aren’t working and fixes them
* Brings positive energy to a sales culture without ego
This is not a role for someone who wants a slow desk, minimal BD, or to be micromanaged.
