What You’ll Do
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver complex, high‑value projects within the aerospace sector. This role offers significant accountability and involvement across the entire project lifecycle, from conception through to delivery and support.
Responsibilities
* Deliver large‑scale projects with accountability for outcomes.
* Work with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
* Coordinate meetings and reviews at on‑site and off‑site locations.
* Maintain strong customer interface throughout the project lifecycle.
* Participate in contract negotiations and proposal development.
* Develop project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
* Liaise with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
* Identify risks, delays, and cost overruns; implement mitigation strategies.
* Support engineering planning based on client requirements and resource availability.
* Oversee design, testing, and support activities.
* Guide and support junior team members.
* Travel within the UK and internationally as required (on an ad hoc basis).

Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Chemical).
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant industry (Aerospace, Automotive, Engineering or Manufacturing).
* Proven track record in project management.
* Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members.
