Pharmacist
Dunstable - Onsite Monday - Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm (2x shift patterns)
Salary: Up to £55,000
We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our client’s team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, legal, and clinically accurate medication supply while upholding the highest standards of pharmacy practice. Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the accurate and legal supply of dispensed medication in line with GPhC standards and Responsible Pharmacist regulations.
* Oversee the final accuracy check on all prescriptions, ensuring compliance with pharmacy SOPs.
* Maintain adherence to Responsible Pharmacist regulations and ensure the competence of the dispensing team, providing necessary training and leadership.
* Manage compliance with the Clinical Governance framework, including risk management, clinical audit programs, and patient safety initiatives.
* Log, analyze, and address errors and near misses, implementing preventive measures.
* Stay up to date with CPD and current pharmacy practices.
* Ensure prescriptions are dispensed within required timescales and maintain proper temperature control for all medications.
* Provide informed responses to drug-related queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
* Complete all pharmacovigilance activities within the required timelines.
Skills & Experience:
* Registered Pharmacist with up-to-date CPD compliance.
* GPhC Registered.
* Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to influence and lead a team effectively.
* Clear patient focus with excellent attention to detail.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
