The ideal candidate will thrive in this active, varied and customer-focused role. Fitting, repairing, and replacing tyres safely and efficiently Testing and replacing vehicle batteries Carrying out exhaust and brake replacements Performing wheel alignments and other basic vehicle checks Delivering first-class customer service – answering questions and offering honest advice Working closely with your team to ensure a smooth, safe, and efficient workshop Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation Ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations Supporting and mentoring colleagues where needed 42.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday (8am–5pm) plus a Saturday rota (8am–1pm, four on / three off). What We’re Looking For Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter (essential) Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional manner Good communication and teamwork abilities Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious approach Basic IT competence (training on internal systems provided) Experience in the motor industry or a similar hands-on role At Charles Trent Ltd, we’ve been leading the way in automotive recycling and vehicle services for over 90 years.
