ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Regional Nurse (RGN/RMN) at Barchester, you'll travel across your region to deliver high clinical standards. You'll lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest quality care during each shift at every location. Your responsibilities include helping new residents settle in, advancing team members' skills, and developing care plans tailored to residents' physical and mental needs. As a Peripatetic Nurse, you'll have the autonomy to work independently and be valued for your expertise.
ABOUT YOU
To join as a Peripatetic Nurse, you must be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and hold a teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification. A strong, up-to-date clinical knowledge and understanding of regulatory frameworks, including safe medication administration, Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines, and NMC standards, are essential. Proven experience in creating care plans and risk assessments is also required. Your can-do attitude, leadership, and excellent communication skills will motivate teams across multiple care homes.
You must be a driver with your own vehicle, as travel between three homes within a 20-mile radius is necessary.
