Clerical Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for an administrator to support the transfer of the electronic patient records from ECR and RiO to EMIS. This is initially supporting the Children's Therapy Service in the Central & West Network.
The post holder will be aligned to the Business Management Admin Unit and will support Physical Health Services in the Central & West locality. They will be required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the Physical health admin service as directed by their administration line manager, to ensure continuity of a quality service provision.
Main duties of the job
The post holders will have a good standard of education with qualifications in English, Maths and Word processing. Excellent computer skills are required. One of the primary purposes of this role is to provide a comprehensive administration service and therefore, general administration experience is essential in order to provide a professional service to the clinical teams. Contact with patients by telephone is required and therefore, experience of dealing with people is essential, as are excellent interpersonal and customer care skills. It is essential that the post holder has good organisational and communication skills. The post holder will be required to work both as part of a team and on their own initiative.
A standard DBS disclosure will be required.
