R&D Electrical Engineer – Electronics Manufacturing
East Kilbride, Full-Time Permanent Salaried role – Excellent Basic plus Bens package
Our client is seeking an R&D Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team focused on innovation, testing, and product development. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong practical electronics knowledge and a passion for cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support electrical and electronic product development activities
* Work with PCB layout and schematic design
* Conduct testing using a wide range of bench equipment
* Collaborate with engineering teams on development projects
* Assist with signal integrity and high-speed RF testing activities
Requirements:
* Minimum HND in Electrical Engineering or Electronics
* Hands-on experience with laboratory/bench equipment
* Knowledge of PCB layout and schematic design
* Strong communication and presentation skills
Desirable Skills:
* Semiconductor or ATE testing experience
* 3D printing and prototyping experience
* Experience using PCB design software (Cadence Allegro or equivalent)
* Transferable engineering or manufacturing industry experience
* Python or Visual Basic programming skills
On-the-job training provided in:
* Signal integrity testing
* High-speed RF technologies
