Due to a strong pipeline of new and exciting projects, they are looking to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer to play a key role in leading design work, mentoring junior staff, and shaping project delivery.
The Role:
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you'll take ownership of projects from concept through to construction. You'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and provide creative engineering input into a wide variety of schemes - from bespoke residential refurbishments to large-scale mixed-use developments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the structural design and delivery of projects from concept to completion
* Manage client relationships and contribute to project meetings
* Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians
* Coordinate with architects and other consultants
* Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and sustainability goals
You'll have:
* A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (MEng preferred)
* Chartered or near-chartered status (ICE or IStructE)
* At least 4 years of UK-based design experience
* Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., Tekla, Tedds, ETABS, Revit)
* Strong understanding of Eurocodes and UK Building Regulations
* A proactive attitude and strong communication skills
