About Us: We are a leading pharmaceutical company in generics and the sale of over-the-counter (OTC) medicines classified as General Sales List (GSL) or Pharmacy (P) medicines. Our mission is to enhance the health and well-being of our customers by providing high-quality, accessible healthcare products.
Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced OTC Sales Manager to lead our OTC sales division. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire sales process from start to finish, including identifying new customers and contracts, negotiating prices, overseeing the artwork process for own label supply contracts, and managing accounts to grow the business and address any issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Acquisition and Contract Management:
* Identify and secure new customers and contracts for OTC medicines.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
* Negotiate and agree on pricing and contract terms to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
* Sales Strategy and Execution:
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives and sales targets.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
* Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business goals.
* Artwork and Supply Chain Management:
* Oversee the artwork process for own label supply contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and brand guidelines.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
* Account Management:
* Manage and grow existing customer accounts by providing exceptional service and support.
* Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by customers in a timely and professional manner.
* Monitor account performance and implement strategies to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
* Team Leadership and Development:
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
* Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
* Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations to team members.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a senior sales role within the pharmaceutical industry, specifically with OTC medicines.
* Strong understanding of GSL and P classification medicines and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Pay: £65,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
