Work for Abacus Valuers as a Part Time Retail Stocktaker.
Since 1988 we have been a leading provider of quality stocktaking services throughout The UK and we work with a wide range of well known high street retailers. Due to steady expansion we are looking for people to join us asap to work on average 3 days a week. Work can fluctuate and often far more work is available.
Responsibilities
* Carry out stocktakes for our clients, primarily on Monday to Friday in the early morning hours (around 5am).
* Report your availability to the Regional Manager and have your weekly schedule planned accordingly.
* Work as part of a team, following client procedures to ensure accurate stock counts.
Pay, hours and travel
* The length of the working day varies depending on the client area of work within the region.
* You are guaranteed a minimum of 5 hours pay whenever you work.
* The more flexible you are, the more days you can work.
* Travel is paid, excluding the first hour to and from work.
Progression
There are good prospects for progression to Stocktake Team Leader positions within this region for the right candidate. The majority of our management team started as Stocktakers.
Requirements and qualifications
* Experience is not essential as full training will be given.
* A driving licence and vehicle are a must, as you will need to get to local meet points from which you will car share to the jobs.
* Reliable, conscientious and able to work well as part of a team.
